The Celebrate Diversity Newspaper in Education program, written by Respect Diversity Foundation educators, reaches 15,000 students statewide. This program is sponsored by the Oklahoman, Love’s, the Jewish Federation of the Greater OKC area and Cimarron Alliance.

Created by over 100 students, teachers, and professional artists during an art integration project for the 10th Annual Respect Diversity Symbol Exhibit at Science Museum Oklahoma.

Embrace Award Video

The 2010 YWCA Embrace Award was presented to Joan Korenblit, RDF Executive Director. This award is presented annually to an exceptional leader in Oklahoma who embraces the YWCA’s Mission: Eliminating Racism, Empowering Women. This video was shown at the YWCA's Purple Sash Gala. Proceeds for the Gala support projects that help to eliminate racism and empower women.

Past Winners

Respect Diversity Art & Poetry Contest winning entries showcased at the Respect Diversity Symbol Exhibit (with hundreds of other entries) over the last ten years. These symbols of respect for diversity are art integration projects created during units of study on subjects of diversity such as the civil rights movement, Holocaust education, the Trail of Tears, special needs, lessons about other cultures and more.
