A discarded table was used for the "canvas" of "Peace Within-Peace Without" created by students from Northeast Academy. The project encouraged class discussions about the differences we have in each culture regarding how we are taught to resolve conflicts in our lives. The title "Peace Within - Peace Without" was chosen to reflect a peaceful path in life. To achieve global peace, it is important to start within oneself. The tile mosaic created on the desktop is a visual metaphor for a world where all are accepted and respected for being beautifully different. We each add color to our world.
