"All Different Children"
Preschoolers at Will Rogers Head Start enjoyed hearing a storyteller share The Crayon Box that Talked. Then, students discussed the lessons learned in this fun story-poem about how each crayon is important and makes the picture complete: just like each child is unique and is important in our world. Each student created a colorful picture, a metaphor of respect for people of all colors throughout the world. Their pictures were combined to create their hanging art quilt titled, "All Different Children."
