Bachground:

 

Dr. Kevin Len Jones is a member of the Soka Gakkai International (SGI)-USA an American Buddhist association that promotes world peace and individual happiness based on the teachings of the Nichiren school of Mahayana Buddhism. Their members reflect a cross section of our diverse American society, representing a broad range of ethnic and social backgrounds.  He began actively practicing Buddhism in June of 1990 where he joined the SGI-USA organization in Northern California.  Later he moved to Oklahoma in 1995 after graduating from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas to be close to his family.  Since his transition to Oklahoma Dr. Jones married Noriko Matayoshi and has since had two wonderful son’s Ian Takashi and Aiden Kotaro, 3 and 5 respectively.  Over the last 10 years he has maintained a private chiropractic practice here in Oklahoma City and in January 2005 began as an adjunct professor of human anatomy and physiology here at OSU-OKC having lectured here in this very room.
