Main Focus

Removing the stigma of mental illness in order to encourage her audience to treat problems of the mind as they do physical illnesses is Vikki's main focus.  Through informative teacher/ parent workshops and extremely creative children's workshops, Vikki makes the connection between illnesses of the mind and the body.

Offerings

For years, Vikki has spoken to medical professionals and lay people about coping with cancers.  Her degrees include Master Of Science in Social Service from Boston University and Master of Public Administration from the George Washington University.

As a Medical Social Worker at the George Washington University for ten years, Vikki provided psychosocial services to patients and families.  She is presently providing social work assessment and intervention with patients and families at the Cancer Center of the University of Virginia.
