Background

Kelly is a creative, energetic visionary whose passion is peacemaking.  She founded the Young Peacemakers Club (a place where children come together in a sense of belonging to learn peacemaking skills), the Peace-Mobile (a traveling children's peace museum), and the Kindness Campaign (an international focus on being kind as a peace behavior) all of which have been replicated around the world through a grassroots global volunteer network.  Peace Quest, her new book, is her best work to date, an illustration of her commitment to the value of peacemaking, and a timeless expression perhaps never more timely than today.  Kelly lives in rural Nebraska with her husband and four children.
