> for that purpose.  For my own company, Living Well Presents, the core
> event is Faith Maloney's public and training events, April 13 & 14.
> Both are free, other than the cost for lunch at the Saturday Seminar.

> THE CAMPAIGN IDEA
> I imagine a huge and growing excitement each year as we build towards
> larger collaborative events, boosting everyone's adoptions, fun and
> fundraising and providing more opportunities for people and pets to
> play together.

> FUNDRAISING
> We Care has several fundraising aspects.
> * Sponsor-Partner funds will be used to pay for printing and paid PSA's.
> * Money generated from die cuts will go to support animal welfare
> group efforts.  Organizations who have tables at Faith's event may
> also accept contributions or sell things to raise money there.
> * We are looking at the option of having drawings for the larger
> prizes we have been given.  If this moves ahead, this money will be
> put in the pool of funds with the die-cuts and distributed between
> area animal welfare groups.

> * Writing and Art contests will support the production of the next
> event planned for August or September.  At this time, I am planning
> to host John Rohloff  www.creaturesgreat.org for this program.

> NON-PROFIT: Living Well Presents has partnered with The Respect
> Diversity Foundation for the We Care - Celebrating Animals Campaign.
> I choose to work with them because of their statewide Diversity Art
> and Writing program working with over 600 schools in OK each year and
> their ability to distribute funds to other non-profit groups.

> Co-Founders Michael and Joan Kornblitz love animals and have been a
> long time animal and human rights advocates.  They were thrilled to
> partner with Living Well Presents and include art focusing on the
> importance and beauty of animals as part of this year's program.
> Stillwater Middle School hosted a Diversity Day last year and we
> presented the students with the chance to enter a collaborative
> piece.  They are completing their work and it will be delivered to the
> OmniPlex in the afternoon to be on exhibit March 15 to May 10.
> Thousands of people will have the chance to see this piece

> LAUNCH
> The story of this collaboration will launch the Art and Writing
> competitions for the We Care Campaign, Friday, March 16. All
> submissions are due April 6 and can be mailed or brought to the
> Perkins Journal office or the Stillwater Community Center.  Winners
> and prizes will be announced at the We Care Affair with Faith on
> Friday, April 13, at the Stillwater Community Center.

> CALENDAR with activities sponsored by the Stillwater Humane Society,
> CAAP, the PetCo Partners, Perkins Animal Shelter, Cimarron Humane
> Society is on my website and will be on flyers, which will hopefully
> be included in the Thursday packets.

> KOSU PSA'S
> We are also planning a PR campaign with KOSU to promote each
> individual activity connecting them all into a large focus on animals
> through the We Care Celebration.  The cost for each day of PSA runs
> is $35.  The activity announced that day will get air play up to 6
> times during drive time to drive time the day of or the day before
> the activity according the preference of the organization sponsoring
> the activity.
